Devant une cam\u00e9ra qui capte au fur et \u00e0 mesure une kyrielle de d\u00e9cisions improvis\u00e9es \u2014 h\u00e9sitations, interventions, exag\u00e9rations, r\u00e9flexions, introductions, inspirations, corrections, irruptions, expirations, acc\u00e9l\u00e9rations, interruptions, respirations \u2014 les avanc\u00e9es, les retraits et les \u00e9lans du peintre s\u2019imposent \u00e0 nos yeux jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la conclusion finale. Sur le rectangle d\u2019origine, le papier de Chine, et sur le rectangle de destination, l\u2019\u00e9cran, chaque trait trac\u00e9, invent\u00e9, int\u00e9gr\u00e9, modifi\u00e9, joue sa partie. D\u2019habitude nous ne connaissons que le dernier \u00e9tat d\u2019un tableau, la derni\u00e8re strate.
